Boosting European seaweed farming through better utilisation of local genetic resources for more reliable algal biomass production

Objective 1: Improve propagation and selection of sugar kelp and sea lettuce genotypes.
Objective 2 focuses on sustainable breeding to reduce genetic mixing with natural populations.
Objective 3: Engage stakeholders in planning future macroalgae breeding in Europe.
